The Winery

The Alana winery is situated within a stones throw of the Alana Single vineyard. This position optimises the rapid delivery of the handpicked fruit directly to our sorting table without the need for double handling.

The winery is of a gravity flow design with three distinctive levels. The top floor is used for red fruit sorting, de-stemming and small tank farm. The second floor contains all the red fermentation vats, air bag press and laboratory. The bottom floor contains our oak maturation cellar.

The cellar is extremely versatile allowing many small batch winemaking which is necessary to contain the subtle nuance from our 17 hectare property.
